This past weekend was Jett's second birthday and his party! Isaac worked over time throughout the week and was able to get off at 11am on Friday. Yay! So we took Jett to McDonald's for his birthday lunch, he'd never been! We let him play in the play area for a bit, headed home for a break and then headed to Benson Marina for a little fun in the sun! Isaac bought a raft and we blew it up and we went out on the water. It's just big enough for the three of us and few extra things, like food and the fishing tackle box. Jett was a bit antsy and was climbing all over, but it was sooo fun!
Saturday morning we got up bright and early to prepare for Jett's birthday! Isaac's mom, grandma, grandpa, and little sister came out to help set up. Isaac and his grandma put together the cutest little cake! Or should I say big cake, it looked JUST Mickey. I also bought him a mini cake from Macey's that was adorable, as well! We had such a great turn out! Several of Jett's friends came to celebrate! And lots of family! We had a hot diggity dog bar! Everything turned out so cute. I never thought planning a two year olds party would be so exhausting but it was worth it! We ended up just crashing after everyone left.
We had baby Jane's doctors appointment on Tuesday. I had my glucose test, which I'm guessing I passed. I haven't received a call yet! She was measuring perfectly and her heart beat was at 140bmp. So healthy! I can't believe I'm 25.5 weeks, already! My doctor said I could pick the 17th or 18th of September for my inducement date. We're picking the 17th. Isaac said if I picked the 18th, I'd be complaining all day the 17th, which is probably true. 96 more days! I have an appointment on July 9th, then I start doing two week appointments! I can't believe how fast this pregnancy has gone by! We are so excited for our precious angel!
We have officially begun potty training! I've been putting Jett on the potty since January, a few times a week. But the last few weeks I've been trying to be more consistent, he's gone 7 or 8 times already but that's in a 5 month time frame.. So the next few weeks, I'm determined. We bought him training diapers, a second potty, and some suckers! Wish us luck!
A couple weeks ago our car started overheating. Isaac looked at it a little more and saw that our radiator was cracked and it was leaking coolant. He's great at finding deals on eBay, like brakes and the engine mount, so he looked for a new radiator, as well. We ended up getting a good deal and read that it was pretty easy to do ourselves. We ended up not using our car for a week and a half and had to resort to the bus. Which was fine and luckily the bus system in Logan is free! Isaac began taking the car apart a few days ago and realized it was going to harder than he thought and didn't think the part was going to fit. So we took the car in and had the guys there do it for us. Yay for us, it was the right part and it ended up being cheaper than we thought! We are really wanting a new car, but are wanting to wait till we can pay cash for one. We are waiting till next tax return, so 8 or 9 more months! I've had my car for 6 years and its been a good little car. Yeah, it's had it's fair share of problems.. but we haven't had a car payment so that's what we want for our next car. If we wait, we will be able to get the car we want :) so waiting it is!
We recently bought a new camera with a tripod and other things so we can take our own pictures. I want to do newborns and maternity pictures, so instead of paying 100$ or more for each of those, we went out and bought a nice camera so we can do our own. It will be beneficial in the long run because we can use it for every day kind of things! Here's a few of the pictures we have taken..
