Mother's Day :)

Mother's Day week/weekend was so much fun! On Wednesday, Taylor came out and spent a few hours with me. We went to the Divvy Up consignment sale, which was awesome. I've been the last three times and have bought Jett clothes. I usually stock up on a size bigger than he currently wears. So this time I got 3T winter and spring clothes. I also got our little girl some clothes, as well. Along with burp clothes and a few other little things. Saturday, my mother-in-law, Macae came out. We hit the sale again on it's last day, most things were half off. :) She spent the day with us and we took her to Gaucho Grill for Mother's Day. Jett loved being with his G'ma!

Sunday, we went to church. Mother's Day has always been hard for me. The entire time listening to speakers talk I had tears in my eyes just thinking about my sweet mama. She was so wonderful and beautiful. My brother, Jordan went up to my mom's grave site in Tooele and sent a picture of the back of her head stone. It had the names of all of us kids and Jordan sent the words, "we will be family forever." Jordan and his wife, Jessi called me and wished me a Happy Mother's Day, it meant so much. I love my family so much! I love being a mom! Jett keeps me on my toes, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Being a mom is so wonderful! I love my kids! Even though one is not quite here yet, I love her so much. They both are my entire world. :)

Isaac made Nutella crepes for me for breakfast and pork ribs for dinner. We spent most of the day outside because it was so beautiful! He also got me an electric can opener! This may sound cheesy and weird but I was so excited! We've gone through sooo many hand ones. So yay for a new electric one! I also got this ADORABLE purse! I love, love it!

This week has been pretty eventful. Last Friday, I decided to get a start on my course modules for school. I am in a 7 week course and we have 9 modules to get through. Well I've always liked to get a head start on school work, so by Tuesday afternoon I'd done 5 out of the 9 modules. Haha. So I'm taking a break from school for a week or so. :) I also got my grades back for spring semester. An A and an A-! I was happy. :)

Monday, late night and Tuesday early morning, Jett woke up several times and came into our room. Isaac kept putting him back in his room. At 6:45, he came to my side of the bed and asked for juice. So I went to pick him up and his entire shirt was soaked. Up to his armpits. So I immediately got up and put him in the bath. I went to check his bedding and the entire top part of his bed was soaked! Blankets and pillows were soaked, but thank goodness for plastic sheets. No soaking into the mattress. Best 5$ buy, ever. Anyways, we checked his blood and it was 460! Isaac said we should probably check his ketones. The ketones showed up at a level of 3.8. I grabbed his sick day book and found out moderate to large ketones were 1.6-3.0. So, they  were really high!  We gave him an extra dose of insulin to get rid of ketones. My poor buddy was sick for most of the day. I turned on Wreck it Ralph for him and went into our bedroom to get ready. I walked into the living room and he was curled into a ball on the floor, asleep. I grabbed him and asked if he was okay and he just started clapping saying, yayyy. I laid him down in our bed and he slept for 3-4 hours. I can't imagine what his poor body goes through on a daily basis but I'm glad he's feeling better. :)

Jett's birthday is coming up and I've been looking at backyard play sets for him. I found a few ones I liked but I mentioned to Isaac that it would be fun to build him one. So yesterday, we went to Home Depot and got a bunch of supplies to build him a little slide and climber play set! I'm so excited! I can't wait to see the finished product. It will be nice for him to have something to play with in the backyard. Especially this summer as I get bigger, it's going to be more difficult to play with him on the jungle gym at the park. We're hoping to add a swing section to it eventually. :)

Tuesday, we went to the doctor. Everything looked really good! Baby girls heart beat was at 140! Normal is anywhere between 120-180. My next appointment I have to take the glucose drink. Everyone dreads doing that test, but I didn't think it was bad at all! I guess we will see how I like it this time around. Shortly after that, I will be doing two week appointments to watch my blood pressure closely so I don't develop preclampsia like I did with Jett. Baby Jane moves so much!! She gets the hiccups a lot! Isaac and I can now see her pushing on my stomach, it's the coolest thing. Jett loves his baby sissy and I just know he will be a wonderful big brother. :) Also, doctor says to still plan on being induced a week early. Woo!

Well that's all for now, I hope everyone had a wonderful week!
