Recent Happenings!

This past weekend was very eventful! We were busy, busy! Friday night we went down to Ogden to hang out with my brother Jordan and sister-in-law Jessi. Seriously, we always have so much fun with them! Jett now calls Jordan, Uncle Jerd. It sounds more like, Uncjerd! Haha. It is so cute! Jett is definitely Uncle Jerd's twin!

Saturday we woke up early and got ready to go to my bestie Taylor's baby shower! She is having a baby girl, who she is naming Preslie. She's due June 15! I remember the day she told me she was pregnant! That was in September! It goes by so fast. I can't wait to meet that baby girl!

Saturday night we went to Uncle Jerd's football game. He plays for a league and the team is called The Utah Shock. He's a stud and did absolutely awesome. I must say I have some very athletic and talented brothers! They are all studs! Sunday, we went to our good friend's, Lael and Elise's, baby girl's blessing. She is such a doll! I was great to see them again. They use to live in Logan but moved down to Sandy once they were both done with school. That afternoon we went to hang out with Isaac's mom, dad and sister. It was great to see them, as well! It's always nice to spend time with family. :)

On the way down to SLC, he was holding Auntie Jess's hand. It was adorable!

Isaac and I both finished a part time semester last week. I am soo glad to be done with the semester and moving on to a new one. Which sounds weird, but this semester should be a little easier since I am done with all my morning sickness. It was definitely hard to get focused. Fall semester I took 12 credits with a toddler. It wasn't hard but spring semester I wanted to take a smaller load so I could get a little break. This summer, I'm taking two classes again. They are both 7 week courses, one being at the beginning of the semester and one at the end. So I technically am only taking one class at a time. My beginning of the summer semester, so far, seems pretty easy. We will see about the one at the end. By the end of the summer, I will have FIVE classes til I graduate! I am SO excited to almost be done. And I've done most of it with a baby! It's really not as hard as some people think. I still get plenty of time with Jett and I am able to get the grades I want. The five semesters I've been in school with a baby, my GPA hasn't been lower than a 3.5. So I say I'm doing pretty good! :)

Jett is becoming sooo smart! I can't believe how much they learn in two years. And I can't believe he will be two in less than a month! My baby is sure getting big. He knows all of his ABC's and will point out what letter is which. He knows what many different animals say. I can actually have a conversation with him! It's awesome to have someone to somewhat talk to and not just a baby giving me googly eyes. Haha. He's also becoming better at getting his finger poked and getting his shots. When it's time to check him, I will grab his meter and he says, "blooooood!" and will sit there as happy as can be while I check his blood. Also, though he's still wiggles while getting shots, he's doing better. This morning, I walked into the living room and he looks at me and says, "Shot?" Because I hadn't given him his shot yet. It was almost like he was reminding me. It was so cute.

Jett LOVES to play with cars. He's such a little boy in that way. He says, "Cars go vrrooooom!" He has a ton of toy cars, it's ridiculous! He also loves Mickey Mouse. We bought him a Mickey and Minnie when we went to Disneyland and he could careless about Minnie. He throws her to the side and grabs Mickey.

I still can't believe I am 5 months pregnant! I found out I was pregnant almost 4 months ago! Time goes by so fast. I'm excited to meet our sweet baby girl! I've been getting anxious to see her and hold her. When we had our ultrasound at 19 weeks, she was measuring 3 days big. Not that it makes much of a difference, but I am anxious to see what my doctor will say since I will be induced a week early. Isaac felt her for the first time on Tuesday! I am excited he is able to feel her move like I have for the past 3.5 weeks.  Jett is so cute with his baby sister already! He will come up to my belly and say, "Hi baby!" and hug it and kiss it. It's seriously the cutest thing in the world. He's going to be the best big brother. :)

These are pictures of me at 21 weeks with Jett and now at 20.5 weeks with sweet baby Jane!

I decided since the baby's room is practically set up that I wanted to take pictures of our new house that we moved into 5 months ago. Don't think I am crazy. I already had the crib, crib mattress, and glider from Jett. We also had a few other big things from Jett we decided to get out of storage, like the car seat, boppy and sleep-rocker. We decided to move it into the babies room since Jett has grown out of everything.

I seriously LOVE our house. It actually feels like a home when we come home. The backyard is perfect for Jett! He loves to play outside. :)

When we first found out we were having a girl, I wanted to make bows. I ended up making a lot but I also purchased a lot as well. But for cheap! I also made the bow holder from a frame at the DI and I hot glued ribbon on. I counted... our baby girl has 70 bows! 59 clip ons and 11 bows already attached to the headband. And we have 11 headbands where the bow can just be clipped on. Can you tell I'm excited?

We also changed my baby shower date due some conflicting issues. It is now August 3rd. :) Seriously can she just be here already? I am so excited!
