I really am bad at blogging. I just post sooo much stuff on fb and instagram I feel I don't need to blog. The other day, I thought to myself I really need to blog. Just for me to look back on as my babies get bigger and to remember what I was doing at that specific moment in time.. I will start writing more once I'm done with school!
I have been SUPER busy with school. I finished my practicum on June 18th and just have my psych stats class to finish and I'll be DONE. I'm so excited.
We are still waiting to hear back when we are starting on the construction of our home. Last I heard was the income ratio for the area was not balanced. We need a certain number of low income and really low income families before we can start. Could take a few weeks or months. Hopefully sooner than later. We did change our house plan and lot. A few weeks ago we were able to go through the homes currently being built and we fell in love with a different house plan. If we wanted the house plan, we had to change lots, too. Once we start building, we will have to put 35 hours a week in. Or more if we want to finish faster. Isaac will do most of the building, so he'll work 40 hours a week and then 35+ for the house building. He's going to be so busy and I will have no husband for the next 9-12 months. But it'll be worth it in the end! There are 9 families in our group. We all build each others home and no one can move in until all the homes are done. The group will build 65% of the homes and then there will be subcontractors doing the things we can't do or don't want us to do. haha. There will be a supervisor on sight to teach us how to build. We are excited to start (and to be done!).
My buddy is three! I feel so old having a three year old, but feel really young having a three year old, too. He has been such a blessing. He has the cutest personality. But can be such a stinker. But his snuggles and hugs make up for that. We had a little party for him on the 14th with my family and he had a blast spending time with his cousins. Thanks to my parents for hosting and providing the food!

How cool is the American Flag pallet? I LOVE it! My dad is super crafty!
That same weekend on the 13th, my best friend Lindsay got married. We got invited to the sealing. We were so excited to be part of her special day!
The night of the 14th, we went to Isaac's cousin's wedding reception at his parent's old church. It turned out so beautiful! And we are so excited for the happy couple!
Miss Jane is growing way too fast! She still loves to tease me when I say. "mama" and she comes back saying, "dada" a million times in a row. She loves her daddy, though. But I would definitely have to say she's a mama's girl! She just started pulling herself up. She loves to wave and to clap. When people come up to her and talk to her, she loves to snuggle into my shoulder and pretend to be shy. She loves to talk. She's such a sassy girl. She's so perfect!
