October Festivities!

October was an eventful month! Earlier in the month I headed to Chicago to meet my new nephew Parker, he is such a doll! Jett and Parker had some great cousin time, they are going to be best buddies one day! They even made goofy faces together. :)

Parker B definitely looks like his daddy! He was so much fun to be around, he blows bubbles like crazy! And his such a little talker. :) We had such a good trip and I loved being able to see my first college home again. Jett and I flew home and he did such a good job on the plane! I got so many compliments on how such a good baby he was! Thank you Jett Isaac Wanberg, for being such a good boy on the airplane ride home!!

The day after I got home from Chicago, I had my first stats exam. I felt like I had studied a lot but not as much as I should. I am horrible at math. So I headed to the testing center with the knowledge I had and left the testing center feeling like I did a pretty good job. Well, when I feel like I did a good job, I usually end up failing... But I kept a positive attitude and patiently waited for a whole week to get my score. I ended up getting a 91! Booya! Pretty good for my first test of the semester, right?

Now on to soccer news, October 14th, was the USU vs BYU soccer game. We ended up being super late, so Isaac wasn't able to play the first half. But he got but in second half and it was BYU-1 USU-0. Not bad! Especially playing against a semi-pro team! Well BYU ended up scoring a few more goals and my husband ended up breaking his hand. On BYU's last goal, Isaac got kicked in the hand and he ended up getting a boxers fracture. He found out Monday it was broken, Friday he got a cast and the doctor said he was okay to play goalie... So the next week he headed to practice. This past weekend was regionals for the team. The were ranked second going in behind Weber and were supposed to be going into the finals up against Weber. In the semi-finals we played the U of U. And were tied 1-1 the whole second half. The majority of the second half, we were on their side trying to put in goals. We had over 20 attempts to score, the U had maybe 2? Anyway, we went into overtime and the next team who scored would win. About 5 minutes into overtime, the U scored. It was crazy, because out of the 2 times the U even tried to score they scored. It was sad to watch such an awesome team be brought down. They had such a great season! This was Isaac's last season, but it was definitely his best. I mean heck, he played with a broken hand! He is definitely a STUD! Good job, babe! :)

We didn't do much for Halloween because of the soccer tournament, but we did dress up for like 20 minutes at a party, I was Dorothy, Isaac was a Scarecrow and Jett was a lion! Maybe next year we will be a little more Halloweeny. :)

That is all for now! Until next time... :)
